Harvest Time

In September, we harvested our merlot grapes. Aidan was Mark's assistant out in the vineyards. He helped by tasting the grapes and putting them in the bin! The other grapes were harvested in October...more photos to follow. I'm a bit behind on the blog.

Hey--

So I wasn't sure what you were doing in Napa but do you own a winery or something? I guess you could have a backyard full of merlot grapes that you harvest but that might be weird. Let me know if you have a chance!

Cute photos of the kid!

We do have 36 vines in our backyard which we harvest to make our own red wine. At full production, we will make about 100 bottles of wine:-) It's fun but hectic. Mark works for a winery. He's busy there during harvest and then he tends to our grapes. Aidan just needs to get older to help out in the vineyards!
